Dr. Alejandra Ortiz Perez

Dr. Alejandra Ortiz Perez is excited to begin her veterinary career at Golden Heart VeterinaryCare and learn alongside its exceptional team of doctors. A proud Florida Gator, she earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida before continuing her veterinary education atPurdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (Boiler Up!).

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ortiz Perez enjoys kayaking, visiting theme parks, and spending quality time with her family. She also loves caring for her four furry companions with her partner:her three Boston Terriers—Boba Tea, Sailor Marie, and Tippy Dumpling—and her cat, Gator.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Ortiz Perez is passionate about providing compassionate, accessible veterinary care to the Spanish-speaking community throughout Central Florida. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and helping their pets.
